A different cookery book
1994 we developed and published our first cookery book as CD-ROM together with the expert chef Othmar Nowak. In the beginning it was viewed an uncommon format, but soon cookery fans began to love it and within a software bundle the digital cookery book was delivered more than 100.000 times. The book offered not only a classic recipe collection but an interesting reference of ingredients, herbs and special cooking expressions. A couple videos helped with cooking techniques you maybe don't perform every day, like cracking a lobster or to fillet fish expertedly, all shown by a pro cook and showing the how-to in detail.
Nowadays no one uses CD-ROM anymore but cooking books are still popular. The iBooks Store ships an English and a German version of a modern version.
